  •    December 2007

    NOCHE DE RABANOS/RADISHES NIGHT

    December 23, 2007

    From 4:00 - 9:00 P.M.

This is Oaxacan tradition that has been taking place since 1897 every 23rd of December. The idea is to create figures made out of radishes (the figures can be people, animals or anything that your imagination is capable of creating). In order to participate, we ask you to bring your own carving tools; we will provide the radishes FREE of charge. That night is customary to eat Bunuelos with Mexican ponche, a hot drink made with different fruits like apples, sugar cane, cinnamon, raisings, prunes, etc. At the end of the night there will be prizes for the best five figures.

    COME AND HAVE FUN!!
