Mercado La Paloma is proud to offer the community economic, health, social, education, arts, science, and cultural resources under one roof. For more information on any of these services, please contact the manager's office at (213) 748-1963.

  Classes:

ESL and computer classes are taught by Jefferson Community Adult School instructors in the Mercado La Paloma computer lab. Classes are held 5 days a week in the computer lab, room #230. For more information, please call (323) 231-1166 or stop by #230.

Health

Esperansalud - A project of Esperanza Community Housing Corporation Esperansalud is a free and easily accessible health education and information center on the first floor of the Mercado staffed by experienced Health Promoters. Health Promoters can provide information and make referrals to any type of service necessary. TranStar service provides transportation information to health care locations. Esperansalud also offers weekly programs on a wide variety of health topics and a weekly tea club for senior citizens to socialize and learn about relevant health topics.
