Chichen Itza

At this little corner of the Yucatan, you can sample traditional dishes such as succulent cochinita pibil, papadzul or regional banana leaf-wrapped tamales as well as inspired and original daily specials. Chichen Itza was started in 2001 by chef Gilberto Cetina-Avila and his wife Blanca Cetina and is now overseen by their son Gilberto Jr. Chichen Itza has been recognized as one of the top Mexican restaurants in the country by GQ Magazine, Hispanic Magazine and the Los Angeles Times.
